“As a believer’s life is very different from an unbeliever’s life, so also a believer’s death is very different from an unbeliever’s death. The unbeliever prefers Heaven over Hell;
the believer prefers Heaven over this earth. The unbeliever prefers Heaven only over Hell because
he cannot imagine anything more blessed than this life. The believer prefers Heaven over earth, because the believer cannot imagine anything
more blessed than life with God.” Author unknown (I took this from a book from Ligon Duncan)

This would be a good street for Sovereign Joy to build on...
This is such a good DVD. My husband and I watched it as soon as it was released and I immediately purchased two copies, one for one of you and one to keep in my library and I'm just now finally getting around to giving it away.
If we have anything to tell others about Christ, let us resolve to tell it. Let us not be silent, if we have found peace and rest in the Gospel. Let us speak to our relations, friends, families and neighbors, according as we have opportunity, and tell them what the Lord has done for our souls. All are not called to be ministers. All are not intended to preach. But all can walk in the steps of the man of whom we have been reading, and in the steps of Andrew, and Philip, and the Samaritan woman. (John 1:41, 45; 4:29.) Happy is he who is not ashamed to say to others, “Come and hear what the Lord has done for my soul.” (Psalm. 66:16.)
Men forget us; those whom we have benefited turn against us. We have no abiding place in the fickle hearts of men; but God will never forget one of His true servants. He binds Himself to us not by what we do for Him but by what He has done for us. - Charles Spurgeon
The difference is very slight between the headers... I'd like to know where you think the wording "Evangelism Resources and More" should go. Simply leave a comment on my blog and indicate which header you like. To make the header larger, click on each one. In the day's to come, Lord willing, I will be opening up an online store on FishWithTrish.com
Meet the Ladies of the Spring. Pic: was taken in Houston during a Women's Conference on Evangelism at Fresh Spring Baptist Church each lady was given a gospel tract and is holding them up.
Living Waters received this email yesterday (4:20-2010):
"Today as I pulled up to pay for my order at a local Dairy Queen in Alvarado, Texas, I was informed by their employee that the man in the car ahead of me had paid for my order (without knowing who I was. He left a $1,000,000 bill for me and for her with the verbal message of "God bless you" for each of us! I am a born again believer and big fan of Kirk... (especially "Fire Proof" the movie and the book "The Love Dare). I was more than blessed by this incident as I have been struggling emotionally and financially since my husband left me last August. I have drawn closer to God and have studied and prayed more recently than at any other time (probably). It's so exciting that we serve an awesome God that we can talk to and that can talk to us! It's also exciting to see other Christians listening to God and obeying him while they bless "unknown" others! God bless your ministry and keep up the good work!" -Wanda
Side Note: Season Four won’t be airing on any networks until 2011. The cost of the London DVD is only $7.50 (comes with “extras”). You can purchase it at LivingWaters.com
Below is my favorite picture of Baby and my husband. Well, actually I have a ton of favorite pictures of her. :-) We found out on Nov 30th that she has cancer. Lumps seemed to appear overnight on her lymph nodes. We took her to the Vet and they said if we don't do anything for her that she has 2-4 weeks to live. She has Lymphosarcoma (cancer of the lymph nodes). I could hardly believe my ears. She's so young. She wasn't even showing any signs. We thought we'd have her for many more years but death can creap upon us so quickly, life is short, isn't it! But God has ministerd to me through His Word!
"In His hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind." Job 12:10
"What doubles the amazing way of serving Him (God) and sharing the gospel in such an easy way, is that now my five-year-old daughter is asking me, "Mama, why do you keep handing those things to everybody," and I get to explain Jesus and the work that He commanded those who love Him to follow. She is seeing me in a way that she's never seen, and I'm praying that it will be the example that she esteems to follow one day." Sunni B.
My soul, wait in silence for God only, For my hope is from Him. He only is my rock and my salvation, My stronghold; I shall not be shaken. On God my salvation and my glory rest; The rock of my strength, my refuge is in God. Trust in Him at all times, O people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Psalm 62:5-8
Something to meditate on for the rest of our earthly lives
"Labour to obtain such a disposition of mind that you may choose heaven for your inheritance and home; and may earnestly long for it, and be willing to change this world, and all its enjoyments, for heaven. Labor to have your heart taken up so much about heaven, and heavenly enjoyments, as that you may rejoice when God calls you to leave your best earthly friends and comforts for heaven, there to enjoy God and Christ." The Christian Pilgrim, Jonathan Edwards, Sept 1733
Proof that we live in a fallen world
"And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart
Stuart was on Wretched Radio back in Feb. of this year. Stuart is an atheist. If you remember, he had a few problems (see vid below). Well, he hasn't disappeared. I ran into him last week at the University of North Texas. Then friends of mine ran into him the next day! This guy can't seem to get away from Christians, can he! :-)
"I have found, my brethren, by long experience that nothing touches the heart like the cross of Christ. When the heart is touched and wounded by the two-edged sword of the Law, nothing heals its wounds like the balm that flows from the pierced heart of Jesus." -The Heart of The Gospel, July 1886 by Charles. H. Spurgeon

Are your tracts within arms reach each time you leave the house? Chances are if they're not, you won't pass them out. So make sure you have a handbag with lots of pockets for your tracts!
I used to have the most difficult time memorizing the 10 Commandments. But when I found this tool (below) years ago through Living Waters it helped me trememdously. In fact, I memorized all 10 in order within minutes. Have you memorized them? If not, this is a quick way to lock each one in your mind. Try it. It's simple. Here's what to do...Just visualize each picture with the commandment. Go through them a couple times and then quiz yourself to see how you do.
While atheists were rejoicing this year over the 200th year anniversary of Darwin's birth, this young man was hearing the everlasting gospel of Jesus Christ on "Wretched Radio".
